Installing or replacing a septic system takes precise excavation and an understanding of Massachusetts Title 5 requirements. Berkshire Construction & Logging handles septic system excavation for homeowners and builders in Hinsdale, MA and throughout Berkshire County.
The process starts with test pits. We dig test pits for perc testing and soil evaluations so your engineer and local board of health can design the right system for your lot. Once a design is approved, we excavate for the septic tank, distribution box, and leach field, set grades to the plan, and prepare the leach field bed with the correct stone and fill.
We also take care of the details around the system: trenching for the sewer line from the house, backfill and finish grading over the tank and field, and loam and seed so the yard looks finished when we leave. If your lot has ledge, steep grades, or wet areas, we can handle rock removal and drainage work as part of the same project.
Whether it's a new home build or a failed system that needs replacing, call Berkshire Construction & Logging for a free septic excavation quote.
